We should study and adopt a Master Teacher classification and pay those teachers more so we can keep our best teachers in the classroom.

Teaching in a high poverty, inner-city school can be far more difficult than teaching in a high income, suburban school. The School Board should take a hard look at the concept of "complexity" pay, wherein teachers who accept assignment to hard to educate, or advanced, student populations receive supplemental pay.
