The recent budget crisis illustrates how dependent Orange County Public Schools is on our community and other branches of government for support. We must build trust with our legislators, local government leaders, and business community before they will invest in our public schools.

Over the past year we have seen attacks on the funding of our public education system.  These attacks have revealed the passion our community and the people of Florida have for a well funded school system. Now we must channel that passion into an organized advocacy effort on behalf of our schools through building a coalition of parents, citizens, businesses, and community leaders dedicating to fighting for the adequate funding of public education.
